ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: (This list is not intended to detail all aspects of the assigned work but is representative of the job’s overall responsibilities)

  • The Supplier Compliance Analyst is responsible for vendor relations and ultimately for vendor performance review and reporting.
  • Manage new vendor registration.
  • Scorecard Management for Suppliers
  • When necessary act as a liaison between the vendor and other departments.
  • Set up and maintain vendors and update contact information.
  • Ensure vendor has up-to-date terms and conditions, insurance documentation, and profile.
  • Work with vendors regarding performance: scorecard feedback, rejections, complaints, etc.
  • Maintain non-conformance records.
  • Manage the Approved Vendor List (AVL).

 

JOB SCOPE:

This position routinely works with minimal supervision which requires the individual to be a motivated self-starter focused on departmental tasks and functions.


 SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:

            This position does not normally carry supervisory responsibility.


INTERPERSONAL CONTACTS:

This position works both independently and as part of a team. The ability to communicate effectively and respectfully with others within the team, in other parts of the organization, and within other closely aligned organizations is essential in this role.


KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Professional written/verbal communication skills.
  • Must demonstrate a sharp attention to detail to eliminate errors.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, etc.
  • ERP System knowledge is a plus.

 

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

  • High-school diploma, or equivalency certificate
  • Quality assurance, supply chain, or purchasing experience is a plus.
